Anybody who has trained for marathons knows how boring and grueling the long slow runs can be. It’s much easier to do those runs together in a group.
So as we’re such a kind bunch of race organizers we organize group runs on Sunday mornings to do the long runs. We start 12 weeks out from race day and follow the training plans for the 12 weeks meeting at Kilmartins roundabout at 8:30am every Sunday morning.
All levels of runners are catered for. If your a beginner don’t feel intimated, as race organizers we get a real kick out of seeing beginners train with us and cross the finish line on race day.
The aim of this session is to do your long slow run together in a group. There are groups for all abilities and you will quickly find a group of a similar pace you can run with and chat. Come down and check it out….
